Kevin McOmber, P.E.

National Municipal Practice Leader | Executive Board Member

Kevin is best known for developing innovative ways to serve our municipal clients. He knows our local, county, and state clients inside and out, interacting with government and agency officials in the pursuit of creative, responsive design and public service solutions.

Kevin is responsible for the design of many memorable places and was instrumental in developing CPL’s capacity to provide privatized services to Georgia municipalities. This innovative public service delivery model works well for our clients and for CPL. Furthermore, Kevin’s local leadership is matched by his internal role as a Board member, shaping our culture and helping CPL thrive as a company.

How does Kevin stay on top of design trends in his field?
"Keeping up with design trends is an important element of serving our clients, which we accomplish through a variety of sources. For me, this includes being an active member with the Georgia Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA), including the City Planning and Management Division. I am also a member and Director of the Georgia Chapter of the Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), where I serve as Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee, Chairman of their State Political Action Committee (PAC) and serve as Georgia’s PAC Champion for the National ACEC PAC. Regular interaction with my peers and attendance at conferences has kept me aware of the latest design trends, although I have also been credited with thinking outside of the box and helping to establish new award winning trends."
