Interior Designer - Charlotte, NC
CPL is seeking an Interior Designer with 7-10 years’ experience to work with our Design Team in our Charlotte, NC office. The individual selected for this opportunity will work with a team dedicated to delivering high value solutions to our local and national clients on projects of varying size and scope.
Responsibilities
- furniture selection, and project coordination.
- Ability to lead presentations of interior design work to clients
- Provide coordination for material and color finish selection.
- Coordinate project design work.
- Prepare and maintain documentation in both CAD and Revit, and renderings.
- Responsible for preparation of presentation boards, furniture selection and coordination with reps and furniture dealer.
- Management of the interior resource library.
- Prepare space planning layouts.
- Works in collaboration with all team members.
- Collaborate and work with interior design staff/project managers in multiple CPL locations
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of Interior Design experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design
- Proficiency in Revit and Enscape required
- On path to NCIDQ certification
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in or strong desire to work in the Healthcare Design industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry and client types preferred
- Knowledge of all aspects of interior design including programming, space planning, design development, construction documentation, finish selection, FF&E, lighting, detailing, building codes, accessibility, specifications, technical and consultant coordination, shop drawings and submittals, and construction administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skillful in organizing time, resources, and tasks.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and Newforma preferred
- Knowledge in additional 3D imaging software a plus
Architectural Project Manager - Atlanta Area
CPL is seeking a Project Manager with a passion for high quality design and a positive, collaborative work style to work from our Woodstock or Suwanee, GA location. This position will require a team member that leads with a positive attitude and has the capacity to thrive in a highly ambitious and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing multi-disciplinary projects at all phases from schematic design, design development, bidding and contract development, construction phase and follow up to the completion
- Creating high-quality design and personalized client service while managing projects in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Effectively communicate and manage relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, vendors, engineers and other related representatives to achieve established goals for a project.
- Manage preparation of specifications
- Technical competence and well-developed project management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 5-10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Architectural license in Georgia required
- Experience with Public Building (K-12, Higher Ed, Municipal, etc.) preferred.
- Proficient in BIM (REVIT), AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products

Construction Inspector - Hudson and Poughkeepsie, NY
CPL is currently seeking a full time Construction Inspectors for both our Poughkeepsie and Hudson, NY offices. The seasonal positions will involve inspecting work located primarily in Dutchess, Ulster, and Columbia Counties. The successful applicant(s) will work with experienced civil engineers and a team of multi-discipline professionals on roadway, public water main, sanitary sewer and storm sewer projects, and other civil and municipal engineering projects. The seasonal position would involve work from 2 to 8 months per year. Full-Time and Part Time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Construction inspection
- Prepare construction daily reports and other documentation.
- Keep track of contract quantities, record daily quantities on each report, Keep a running tally of contract quantities.
- Coordination with owner, contractor, property owners, regulatory agencies, and utilities
Qualifications
- 3 years of construction inspection experience related to civil engineering OR completed/enrolled in a degree program for civil engineering, civil technology, or construction management
- Driver’s License
- Authorized to work in the United States
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of construction plans and specifications
- Ability to prepare daily construction reports and other documentation
- Ability to work and coordinate with Engineer In Charge and/or Office Engineer
- Willing to work with computer software to file and manage reports and photographs.
- Willing to receive training to prepare candidate, provided as needed.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability for physical exertion and coordination of limb body movement.
- Ability to work on uneven or unfinished surfaces, above and below ground, opening and closing of access covers, and climbing.
- Ability to twist/turn upper body.
- Able to use hands/arms with repetitive action for fine manipulating, keyboarding, and typing.
